Meet the Johns Creek Team Behind Servo Garage Doors Johns Creek
We’re a local crew, not a rotating cast. The technicians who show up at your door in Johns Creek are the same people who know the difference between a Clopay track radius and a Wayne Dalton torque tube because they’ve worked on hundreds of both. Marcus Deller built this team around one rule: name the part, state the price, do the work, show the proof. Every member carries that. Here’s who you’ll actually meet when you call (470) 380-0642.
Our People
Marcus Deller, Owner
Marcus founded Servo Garage Doors Johns Creek in 2015 after spending years watching garage door companies quote one number over the phone and a different one at the door. He’s the reason Clause 1 of The Haven Standard exists: written price before work starts, no exceptions. Marcus still rides along on complex installs and handles second-opinion estimates himself. When he’s not under a torsion spring, he’s woodworking in his garage in Alpharetta, which his wife says is ironic.
DeShawn R., Lead Technician
DeShawn has been turning wrenches on garage doors for 14 years, the last 7 with Servo. He’s the guy we send when a LiftMaster logic board is throwing error codes nobody else can read. DeShawn is certified on all eight major brands we service, but his real specialty is torsion spring replacement done right the first time. He keeps a spiral notebook in his truck with every door weight and spring dimension he’s ever recorded. On weekends, he coaches youth basketball in Duluth.
Elena M., Senior Installer
Elena came to us from the commercial overhead door world, where she installed full glass aluminum doors in Alpharetta office parks. Her residential installs are consistently the tightest we see: she levels rails to within a sixteenth of an inch and photographs every bracket before she leaves. Elena handles our more involved Clopay and Amarr full-system replacements. She’s also the reason our installation checklists run three pages. Outside work, she runs ultra-marathons, which tracks.
Ty B., Service Coordinator
Ty is the voice on the phone at 2 a.m. when a torsion spring snaps in Medlock Bridge and someone needs a real person, not a voicemail. He’s been dispatching emergency garage door calls in north Fulton County for 6 years. Ty knows which technician carries which parts inventory on any given day, so when he schedules your call, he’s scheduling the right person with the right parts. He was born and raised in Johns Creek and will tell you the best tacos in the area are on State Bridge Road. He’s not wrong.
Jared K., Apprentice
Jared joined us two years ago through a trade program and has earned his way onto residential repair calls. He’s currently working through his installer certification under Elena and DeShawn, which means he does measurements, cable runs, and photo documentation on every job he touches. Jared is the one who insists on labeling every before-and-after photo in our records, which the rest of the team pretends to tolerate but actually appreciates. He grew up in Peachtree Corners and still calls it “PC.”
One Standard, Every Job

Servo Garage Doors Johns Creek is independently owned and operated under The Haven Standard, and that matters to how this team works. Nobody here works on commission, so nobody’s paid to upsell you a new door when a $48 spring inspection and a $280 torsion spring replacement would do the job. Clause 1 means every job gets a flat, written price and written scope before any work starts. Clause 4 means the technician photographs the failed part before quoting a replacement, so you’re not taking anyone’s word for it. The 365-Day Done Right Promise applies to every technician on this page, not just the owner. When you call (470) 380-0642, Ty answers. When a technician arrives, they’re background-checked and uniformed. When they leave, you have a photo record of what was found and what was done, plus a written warranty. That’s the standard, and it’s not a handshake.
Before
AfterWhy the Team Matters When Your Garage Door Fails
Garage doors in Johns Creek deal with heat, humidity, and the occasional severe thunderstorm that fells limbs onto overhead tracks. A torsion spring under that kind of cycle load will eventually fail, and when it does, you need someone who’s seen it on local doors, not just read about it in a manual. Our team has done more than 18,000 garage doors since 2015, every one with a written price before work started and a documented record when the technician left. That’s not an accident. That’s what hiring real, accountable people gets you.
